AMB PUBLISHING PRODUCTIONS, is a small press publishing, production, and consulting firm. AMB, Publishing Publications is in the business of servicing break-through Author’s and Non-profit business development
officers to create, build, and brand their business’ using new and innovative techniques that carry them through new developments as seasons change.

Many Authors/Poets jump at the chance to see their works in print. Just two years ago I was the virgin writer looking for a sweet deal on my very first manuscript. I had no idea of the publishing process. Nor, did I have a full understanding of the complete lingo of the publishing business. I was just submitting my work blind and naive. I have some bumps and bruises to prove my misfortune with publishing through both traditional and vanity press publishing homes.

It wasn’t until I learned that writing the book was
the least of my worries. Writing is easy. The question is what are you planning to do with these works of art, you presume to be best sellers? Once this is accomplished then you can sort out the layers of the publishing world, and which line you wish to get in.

I am all gung ho for those that wish to query traditional publishing companies with some actual credentialing under their belts; I write query letters for my clients as well. However, good luck with that if you do not have an agent, and if you want to venture off to the masses of self-publishing companies that charge you an arm and a leg then go right ahead.

But before you venture off, I would like to ask you this one question, why not truly invest in the project or product you wish to share and/or sell? This is where I come in. So after all the hustle, tears, and doors slammed in my face. I was offered 6 different contracts. Now this is after I signed a horrible contract with a publishing firm that basically should
of said bend over so that I can…well you get the picture. After a slow recovery I did some research on the whole business of book publishing. After about a year I decided to self-publish my first book series.

Even then I was still learning the process but I had come a long way. I learned all about audience, genre, querying, and the list goes on. Still I wasn’t truly taking control of my business as an Author. As months and Sunday’s past, I was intrigued with a conversation I had with my Twitter Promoter. She asked the very same question I asked you all a moment ago.

“Aija, why don’t you invest in your work, by branding your name and building your company around this?”

“Wow…,” was my initial response followed by gut wrenching fear. After a few moments of pondering I decided that what could I lose? I would be in charge of my product, my sells, and my destiny. So here’s the stitch.

I assist my clients with publishing needs in a number of ways. I publish 5-10 manuscripts a year under my small publishing firm. I consult non-profit business developers in the areas of grant research, and development, planning and implementation, and project development. I also consult Authors on how to self-publish their works as a separate entity if they are interested in developing their own firms.

I assist my clients with book covers, book lay-out, soft editing services, press kits, and the know how to create their own business’s. I also design apparel, posters, cd covers, pamphlets, and brochures, In addition to writing grants and business plans.

Samantha Petrie's life is in a rut. She just broke up with her boyfriend of three years because she caught him with another woman.

Her job as an ad executive is at a stalemate, having been passed over for a promotion three times.

So at dinner one night, Samantha is telling her friends she needs a change. Jokingly, Sam's friend, Liz, shows her an ad for a phone sex person.

At first Sam is shocked that her friends would even think about her doing that; but, later, Sam keeps looking at the ad and it's like the words are calling to her....teasing her, daring her to take a chance and just do it.

Sam does get up the nerve to call, and what ensues afterwards, is a crazy journey of lust, sexual obsession and culminating in murder, as Sam becomes the sick target of a crazed sexual predator.

ABOUT ELLEN JOHNSON:

Ellen johnson is a mom of two, who started writing back in Junior High, for her school newspaper.

Living in Metairie, La, Ms. Johnson has her hand in many projects, not just writing: she has a home party business with Pure Romance and Pampered Chef; she manages her daughter's acting career, as well as having done some acting herself. She has been in Treme and the movie, Hotflashes.

She also has her hand in producing, getting ready to start filming a made-for-tv-movie in New Orleans.

Her next projects are a novella titled, Hotline, and a mystery/romance novel titled Playing With Fire.

AMB PUBLISHING, Offers paid services to its Authors for publishing, and distribution services. AMB does not own your book. Authors under the AMB publishing productions firm will keep 80% of their earnings per sale of their book and/or cd. 20% of books sold will be donated straight to the company’s
foundation, “Dis Me,” which is a youth literacy group in the business of teaching youth how to effectively write and communicate with their parents, teachers, and peers.

This advocacy is an effort to cease the violence and bullying in
schools and dedicated to the loving memory of Arnold B. Muckleroy, Musical Artist, Poet, and Writer. Funds that accumulate in this foundation are then donated to
families that are victims of violent crimes and to help keep the enrichment programs a float in our neighboring communities.

Author Aija Monique Butler, was born in San Diego California, in 1979. She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay area. She is a Residential Care Facility Administrator for the
State of California, Specializing in Acute Care, Dementia, and Diabetes, for the elderly.

Aija is the Owner of AMB Publishing Productions, a small publishing and consulting firm for Authors and
Non-profit development officers. She is an Advocate and Philanthropist for non-profit program development in the areas of Youth and Social Service Development. She is a grant writer and has an academic background in psychology
and medicine. Aija has a love for the arts and is a writer of poetry, both fiction, and non-fiction novels, memoirs, and screen plays.

Aija Butler is the founder and executive director of, "Dis Me, The Blog Diary’s," A Literary group which looks to help students learn how to use effective communication,
in expressing thoughts and feelings with their peers and elders. This advocacy program is dedicated to an effort to cease violence among teens and bullying in schools, in dedication to her deceased brother. The goal of the program is to
open the lines of communication in an effort to improve teacher/student and parent/child relations.
